Wish List: ABT Chrome 4 Brushes and Brush Roll Set

I'm a self-confessed brush addict, always on the prowl for the best tools to apply my makeup. And for one I recently became a "brush vegan", which means that I only buy synthetic hair because I do love animals and I personally have allergic reactions when I use natural hair face brushes. I've got brush sets from Suesh and Smashbox, both of them with animal hairs. So I don't really use them on myself that much (except for eye brushes), and instead just utilize them on friends and family when I help do their makeup. And in my constant search for great synthetic brushes, I stumbled upon this fantastic set:

The Advanced Beauty Tools Chrome Travel Brush Set!

The only sets that I have that are animal hair-free are my Too Faced Teddy Bear Hair and Ecotools (which I use the most often). I do love them because they don't scare me with the fact that I might have a field of acne or have itchy red splotches on my face (which happens with the built-in brush on my Revlon ColorStay Mineral Foundation). Having had nothing but great dermatological experiences with synthetic bristled brushes, I wanted to learn more about what ABT had to offer:

Where do I start with this set? It consists of a buffer/powder brush, a blush brush, an eyeshadow brush, an angled liner brush, and a silver brush roll that has 8 slots (4 additional ones for extra brushes you want to slip right in there). The handles and ferrules are fused into one and it's chrome with a weighted end to create the slick and stylish design and to balance the brushes on the user's hand. The hair is made of NuFibre, which according to their website is a "Revolutionary man-made replacement for premium animal hair." It's synthetic like taklon, and the tips of the hairs are at a fine point which helps the brush not suck in the powder/pigment. It makes the powder just sit on the top of the brush so that the color will go where you want it -- your face. And when you get it, it's in a lovely black box! Pretty sweet!

It retails at $73 (which is not cheap for just 4 brushes!) at the ABT website and it used to be sold in HSN's website for $60 too (but they dropped the brand), but my uncle was able to buy one set for me for $57 on Ebay! I'm looking forward to it arriving on January 2012 when my uncle's girlfriend comes home to visit her relatives next year.

I will write a review as soon as I receive mine and try it out for size!
